A City of London Livery Company established by Charter in 1670. This Company continues to have strong links with its traditional trades that are today represented by the industries which manufacture Tin Plate, Metal Packaging and both ferrous and non-ferrous Wire and Wire products. Members are drawn from a variety of occupations both professional and business with over a third being involved in the Tin Plate and Wire industries. Through its Chamberlain Enterprise Project the Company seeks to encourage enterprise and entrepreneurship, particularly in young people. Where it is considered that a winning design has commercial potential, further sums of money may be made available to assist in taking the product to market.
