Sadie Bossom - Sandals

The 'Sandals' project was based on actual digital films made by the villagers of Budikote near Bangalore in Southern India, that highlighted everyday challenges to which students could respond.

Sadie wanted to develop a business scheme that would allow villagers to generate their own income and ‘Budi-Soap’ was a scheme designed to involve everyone in the village growing Aloe Vera in order to manufacture an organic and sustainable product that can be sold to both local and international markets.
